Charitable Pickpockets

Client: Atlanta Journal Constitution
This image was for the Atlanta Journal Constitution and it’s one of my favorites. The article that this illustration represents was about how charities basically rob you of your money, begging you to give to this cause and that cause. I’m all for helping out charities but it gets overwhelming when many come at you at once (especially during the holidays). I’ve found that I am more inclined to volunteer my time at a soup kitchen or the humane society rather than giving money that gets spread too thin before it even gets to the cause.
