Client: Self Promotion

This horse (an updated version of George Orwell’s Animal Farm) was part of a self-promotion piece with my agents (when I used them).  I chose Animal Farm because it had a big impact on me when I read it in high school—it scared me to death and has haunted me ever since.  I re-read the book before I started working on this project and found that it was just as scary (if not more so) as it was several years ago.

In my version of “Animal Farm,” everyone was completely happy, having a good time, and was not bothered by anything (thus the juxtaposition of Orwell’s book where everything is dark and gloomy).  There were many illustrations included in this promotion; however, this was one of my favorites.
