There are times in a freelancer’s career when work significantly slows down, which can be somewhat paralyzing. A few years ago there were several months when I didn’t have any work. It was all I could do not to completely freak out. Instead, I found a way to keep my spirits up—draw, draw, draw. I drew several pieces just for fun. I really liked this particular piece and use it now to showcase my work.
