One of my all-time favorite things to illustrate are horoscopes. This cute horoscope is Leo. The art director wanted this illustration to have a whimsical and playful look so I tried to keep it nice and airy.

One of my all-time favorite things to illustrate are horoscopes. This is my favorite “Leo” illustration. This illustration was a mile marker for me because it helped me push through in developing my own style. From this image, I learned to give my girls an underbite and a snarl which I’ve continued to use in many of my images.

Lesbian gone straight
Client: Women's Health and Fitness Magazine
This image was for an article about a lesbian who had gone straight. I drew a girl who had x’d out her tattoos to show that she’d gone back “in the closet.” Later, a gay friend of mine told me that I drew the pink triangle upside down. Oops.

Prude
Client: Men's Edge Magazine
This illustration depicts how some girls can be prudes about going out to a club, getting a drink, and having a good time. There were many prudes where I went to college and they ended up being closet party girls; they just wanted to give the illusion that they were proper girls.

Internet Blind Date
Client: Women's Health and Fitness Magazine
This article was about a girl and a guy who met on the internet, exchanged pictures and decided to go out on a date. However, the guy sent a picture of himself when he was back college/high school. Boy is she in for a surprise!
