Roids Client: U.S. Catholic Magazine

For this illustration, the art director wanted to portray a happy consumer receiving his credit score in hopes that he could buy a house (this was back during the housing boom).  The art directed and I threw around several ideas and finally came up with this one.

Corpse Bride

Corpse Bride Client: Atlanta Magazine

This image illustrated an article about reading scary books during Halloween.  I wanted to make the image spooky but cute at the same time.  I watched Corpse Bride which gave me the idea to draw a corpse girl sitting on a tombstone.  I used the colors green and purple to really bring her out.
