I drew this picture to illustrate an article about people who get inundated with a lot of cards. I personally don’t like getting cards because it’s a waste of paper and the cards usually end up in the garbage; however, I love electronic greeting cards.

The Classifieds
Client: Realtor Magazine
This image accompanied an article about people who find good deals by looking in the classifieds. If I remember correctly, I drew this picture when Craigslist was becoming popular and newspapers were slowly dying out.

Client: Canadian Health Magazine
This image depicts super hero parents in Canada. I do a lot of work for our ‘northern’ friends. They have great articles to illustrate and it’s always a joy to work for them.

Remote Control Fight
Client: Electronic House Magazine
This illustration accompanied an article about the battle for the ultimate remote control. Apparently there is a huge competition for remotes, ranging from “all-in-one” remotes to remotes with 200,000 buttons (God only knows why you’d need that many).

Catholic Movie Reviews
Client: U.S. Catholic
This illustration accompanied an article about Catholic priests and nuns who reviewed movies from a spiritual point of view. The article was not about a religious group censoring movies when a bad word was said, but rather about finding the spiritual meaning behind today’s hottest releases (I’d be surprised if they found anything spiritual in the movie “Transformers").
