This was actually a personal project I did to denote ethnicity by using only facial features and no color whatsoever. I chose to illustrate a Latina. It was very hard to keep a balance between stereotyping and accentuating the features of a particular race.

This image was a fun one to create. I am part of a collective group of artists who draw a different theme each week, this particular week’s theme was robots. For this illustration, I wanted to take a more whimsical point of view and create something fun so I created a robot drum major.

Snowball and Boxer
Client: Self Promotion
Several years ago I created a self promotion piece using characters from Orwell’s Animal Farm. Since Animal Farm is crazy depressing and a real downer, I decided to pep up the characters and make them overly happy. The end result was a fun piece with great characters to illustrate a happier “animal farm.”
