International Comic / Manga Schools Contest 2021
This is a manga, comic and illustration contest open to students from all over the world. Winners are entitled to cash prizes, digital creation software, pen tablets and the chance to be featured in the media too!
The contest is also an opportunity for professional creators to judge and criticize your work and increase your skills. There are many categories to choose from and many opportunities to win prizes!
Contest theme: Admiration
You can submit artwork made digitally or traditionally. Presentations can be created using any drawing tool or software. If you create your application using traditional tools, please submit a digital scan of the artwork (Paper submissions will not be accepted). There are no requirements for the language represented in the works.
INK ASTRI 2021
The Pepita Ramone Association is pleased to present the third edition of the non-competitive contest of illustration and visual arts INK ASTRI!
In order to stimulate the creativity of artists, beginners and professionals of the visual arts, notebook scribblers, illustrators, designers and anyone who wants to try their hand at drawing and with the intent of giving visibility to new “stars”, the Promotion Association Social ARCI Pepita Ramone announces the “Ink Astri” contest.
During the year 2021 – 2 themes will be proposed through an open call to which anyone can participate. Following each open call, all the works received that comply with the regulations will be published on the Association’s Facebook page and an exhibition will be organized in which the selected works will be exhibited.
The theme of the first phase of the contest is: Space.
The deadline for submitting the works is May 31, 2021.
Smacchiart 2021
The Smacchiart competition is open to all adults who are passionate about drawing, comics and illustration, professionals and non-professionals. Participation is free.
Theme: Love in the time of Covid-19
For this year’s competition it is required to illustrate love, in all its meanings, in this moment in which being together has become so difficult. The artists who want to participate in the competition must interpret and represent the theme “Love in the time of Covid-19” through an illustration or a comic board. The work must be made in vertical A4 format and digitized at a resolution of 600 dpi. Free technique.
Each participant can submit only one work. Works made by several authors are accepted. Participation in the competition requires the artist to authorize the subsequent reproduction of the work at the discretion of the organization. Send your work no later than 10/06/2021.
